I'm having a little trouble figuring out how to take the battery out to install a trickle charger for the winter.  looks like I might have to remove the seat??  any help here would be greatly appreciated.

On my '01, seat comes off to get to terminals.  I haven't tried to contort to do it with seat on.

Take negative off first......

Most cycle battery trickle chargers come with a set of leads that can be permanetly attached to the battery posts and provide an external connection for charging when needed. You only have to R & R the seat once to install them and if the weather gets nice during the off season,  you only have the verify the tires are aired up and your good to go for a 'scoot'. Max
