Flipped the forks (vs. the whole bike) upside down for a couple hours and compressed the inner tubes to work all the oil out.

No, didn't buy a set of allen wrenches, already have everything thru 6mm.  Just bought an 8mm allen bit to use with my ratchet set...

The fill took 1.5-2 oz shy of a full quart.

I'd still like to see the upside down bike method Smiley

I don't remember the equivalence but the manual states 441 ml for each fork (why THAT number I can only guess) so 441 x 2 = 882.  What's a quart, 9xx?  Can't remember.

But, did you drink the whole 6-pack?  That's the most important tool Grin

1 oz. = 29.6 ml

946 - 60 = 884

That's pretty close to 882

True dat!

I figure, based on the design, there's really no penalty for a little too much oil, or too little for that matter.  More should make it a little stiffer, and less should make it a little softer...
