I am looking for new grips, but i am not sure what size factory 2007 s40's are, I am not sure how to measure or i would have done so?? Can anyone tell me what size bar they are?

Should be 1 inch, same as Harley's

Installed a set of Kuryakyn grips and they really look nice. The secret is to test fit and test fit and test fit. You will have to shave some plastic off the throdle for the grip to fit. Left side slides right on. You might want to use a SLOWER acting glue.

As noted in several other threads, it's necessary to shave/file/sand down the ridges on the throttle sleeve before installing the Kuryakyn ISO grips. I used the fine side of a wood rasp and it took the ridges off easily.
