Try justin's reccommendation first.

Next the cam chain, drop the oil, remove right peg, remove header and muffler, remove oil filter, clean around the edge of the cover, remove bolts on cover, note which ones have seals!, note which ones are long (only 2 lengths, only 2 are long), disconnect clutch cable, use clutch lever to pop cover loose only, pry alittle at front to even it out stop at 1/8" gap, check gasket, what side is it stuck to, make sure it's all the same side, pull the cover off.

Take 2 beers, call us in the morning.

I just replaced my camchain, adjuster, guide, and tensioner. The tricky part is to loosen the clutch basket so the primary drive gear can be removed. note: Primary drive gear nut is reversed thread, turn clockwise to loosen.

No! i have a minor problem. i got over excited and thought "hey ill try to figure out where the chain runs to" and i saw a bolt on the right side of the block, all alone and thought "why not" took it off heard a clink and looked in to find a little cylinder that the bolt runs through out of alignment.. what is it? any ideas on how to align it? and lastly, where does the chain run to? i want to make sure i dont need any more parts.

The chain runs up through a cavity along the cylinder through the head and around the cam gear and back down to the chain sprocket behind the primary drive gear.

You will need to remove the head cover. If your bike still has the chrome covers on top of the head, you will need to remove those to get to the head cover. You will need to remove the fuel tank.

reliable?  I guess that means delivers on time.

You have to call them to make sure they have parts on hand.  Then they are reliable.  Otherwise, most will take up to 2 weeks.

remove tank, don't need to but remove carb, remove top support, get manual, read tech section post, print pict of head cover, poke bolts in it as you remove them, curse cause you just twisted a head off of one, order replacement, get manual cause I don't remember the rest.

Make sure you match up what you need with a picture of it.  The names we use don't always match what they call it.  If you order a tensioner, you get the rear guide.  order the guide you get the front guide and you can't replace that unless you take off the head.  I'd order the tensioner, adjuster and chain for sure.  since you're ordering, clutch gasket whether you replace it or not.  And you might consider ordering a few of the bolts for the head cover cause you might twist off one or two, I did.  And won't be your fault.  bolts are either damaged durring install or over time, not sure.
