I put a Harley buddy seat from 1965 FLH on mine.
sort of like a Barca lounger.

Phelonius

You'll have to post a picture, can't figure out what a barca lounger looks like....but I've been up over 24 hrs,so I cant picture much of anything right now....only going to sleep Smiley

But....is it comfortable? Did it go on good?

I'm determined to run across something like that.. One that I just happen to see and know it will work Smiley

I removed the seat cover and shaved some of the foam off. It seemed like the riding possition was a little better but i shaved off a little too much foam. So I got a sportster seat instead.

The "Butt Buffer" seat pad sounds similiar to the Corbin seat ,to me...except for it just being a pad.....but is lots less expensive and so far Corbin dosent make a Savage seat.

But I'm going to try out the sheepskin cover at least until I find something better.A better (whole) seat.

Then I'm going to try to find out how to stay warmer for winter rides....heated vest? heated socks? do they make heated gloves? Smiley

Freespirit,

there have been threads in the past about winter gear. It's probably a good time to start one this year. In the mean time, check out gerbing products for heated gear.

I'm sure I will be getting Winter catalogs soon....but it would be nice to hear reviews on things.

What actually works well and what dosent Smiley

Thanks....I'll check out the Gerbing products.

It's already getting cool here in the evening and at night!!!
Seems like it went from 90's to 70's in the daytime, overnight.....that's scary, unless its just a temporary cool spell.

But if someone dosent start a post on this soon,I will.I know there will be days even in the fall that I'll want to ride!and some in the winter also.
