If the rpm's are low, it will shut off no matter how it's adjusted.  A little high is better than too low.

Hey Monq, how about adding your country to your profile?  It's fun to know.   Grin

No stupid questions -  only stupid answers

Gas filter is on fuelc0ck inside tank.

Adjust idle to 1000-1200 RPM with screw on left side of carburator.

Adjust idle mixture on right side of carburator 2-2.5 turns out for best run.
( turn screw right till stop then turn left 2 to 2,5 turns)

7 turns out doesn't sound good.
start at 2 turns out and adjust idle speed to 1000 to 1200.
If it doesn't slow down when you change it to 1 turn or 0 turns, then it might be vacuum leak.  Or Idle speed is too high still.

then try lancers straight and simple carb tune.

Here's a link to the thread.

http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?board=tech;action=display;num=1157720585

At 7 turns out, you're in danger of loosing your idle pilot screw (right hand side).  There is a spring that keeps tension on the screw, but more than 3 turns out it may be in contact with the screw.

If your engine was running fine up to now, you most likely have dirt in your carborator.  A good cleaning may fix the issue.
