Headlamp replacement

Well my headlamp housing broke off right at the base so I'm looking to replace it. I figure I'll take the opportunity to change the look on the bike.

Ideally I'd like to go with dual square lamps, stacked, or an oval headlamp. Can anyone tell me where to order something like that? Does anyone know of a universal bracket that will fit?

I e-mailed highway hawk about a universal bracket they advertise specifically for the savage but they replied that the bracket fits all VS Intruder models.

All help is appreciated. I'm hate riding with my headlamp taped to my forks  Sad

Two basic ways of mounting a headlight: sidemoun:  ears clamped to the forks that hold the headlight.  (someone here has what looks to be an aircraft landing light so mounted.)

The other way is a bottom mount, which is what Harley and many others do, including us.  Looks to me as if a V-Star headlight should mount with no more than a little drilling/bending -- Idiots keep bidding them up over $50.  Otherwise Just get some scrap steel and saw/drill/file/bend/weld what you need.  Whoever said you can't fit a square plug into a round hole didn't try very hard.
