Jardine to Sporty muffler

Hi,

I'm changing from my Jardine to a Sportster muffler (due to living in apartments and having noise restrictions) but was wondering if it will be a noticable loss in performance or not ? I run a POD filter and realize I may have to drop a jet size since the sporty muffler is not as free flowing.

Also if I end up later on moving out of town will drilling the baffle out say 3/8" make any difference to sound or performance.

Thanx,

Glenn

You can always bore it out and make yourself one of these tune-able baffles. Close it around your home area and open it wide for the highway.
