lose feeling gas tank

Im not a toatal gear head (or spelling B champ for that matter). But after i got my savage serveced (be it the shops fault, or not) i noticed that my gas tank seems a little lose. By lose i mean that if a moderit amount of pressure is applied it flexes one way or the other alittle. Is this fairly normal or should i be scared? there is no leeking or rattling.

BigWes..if it'll make you rest better, take the seat off and check the rear mount for the tank.  If that is bolted up properly, I don't think it's possible for the tank to be "really" loose,, unless of course the speedo is tickling your chin as you ride. Enjoy..

If this was a change you noticed after service, then take it back and have them check it.  It pretty easy to pop the rubbers off while installing the tank.
