Do a search under seller: denisesb on ebay.
I know they used to offer that service, at least you can ask them. FYI

The engineering lab manager at work is a nascar owner. He says that they are not drilling anymore. Instead they are machining a shallow groove.
I'm thinking of doing that to my rotor. Take a ball end mill and put a groove in the rotor in a like angle of the drilled rotors.

Here's the one I used - it is higher friction low carb steel - but can flash rust fairly quick around the beach front - of course most things do

I think that's mostly the salt air there. Here in the Dallas area I'm not getting that rusting very quickly... at least not yet.

well no luck finding the service on ebay, any other suggestions. Do you think a local machine shop could handle the job? I dunno

OK, so I'm stupid, but I'll ask anyway. What does the holes do on the rotor and how does it effect your braking ?

I believe they're also suppose to help remove brake dust on an ongoing basis.

Also allows venting of the gases that form between the surfaces of the pad and rotor. These are from the support matrix in the pads and when the pads are heated during braking, it vaporizes. Venting via slots or holes in a drilled rotor allows more consistent contact between the pad and rotor with less compressive force and allows more cooling which prevents fade.
Translation: Better braking forces.

I like mine a lot. Just be sure you deburr the holes before installing it.

Look around for the EBC
MD3017LS
rotor. I've seen it at
Dennis Kirk
. I've also seen it at
www.cyclebrakes.com
in their
EBC Catalog
on page 24. I think I bought mine at
Motorcycle Pro Shop
but I don't recall for sure.
