I was driving over to my B-i-L's tonight and the exhaust note changed when I shifted to 3rd. Discovered I had worn the center baffle supports out in my HD-FXD/F stock muffler.  Baffle is still there, but sideways. It had a nice rap on acceleration coming home the long way, but WA state is a legislative session or two away from some serious exhaust noise rules and to do my part I put the other 1/2 of the pair on earlier tonight.  Won't upset anyone and is lots lighter and better looking than stock and does have the needed SAE dB rating stamped into the case in case they check for that when the time comes. The first one went 27, 308 miles or so. Was suprised as I had no clue it was starting to come loose, other than it has been running really sweet lately. Starts in an instant, idles great, even at 100 deg  sitting in traffic. Going about 110 miles on 1.8 -2.1 gallons of gas running to and around town.  Fuel up every 3-4 days usually, sometimes in 2 days. Max
