New cam and rocker arm (Read 1 times)

rickyt23 Ex Member	New cam and rocker arm 07/17/07 at 13:54:21 I just put a new cam and rocker arm in my savage and I'm not sure how to adjust the valves I have the all the way out with the cam touching the rocker and it seems as though theres no adjustment. Should I not have the cam rotated up??

It sounded good now I put it all back together including the tank and it won't start?? any suggestions out there?? Thanks for the help!!

justin_o_guy Ex Member	Re: New cam and rocker arm Reply #3 - 07/17/07 at 22:01:34 Did you run it outta gas without the tank hooked up? If so, the carb bowl is empty & you need to put it on "PRI" on the petcock. Note the little arrow on the lever. POint it to PRI. I hope thats it.
