Car? I have a car?!

Riding right along!

OK, I'm hooked!  900 mi. since last (first...) post.
MCs, where have you been all my life?!!

Still reading, recently saw the post about putting an Evinrude sticker on the tank.
I laughed so hard at that one!! Cheesy  I might do that one day.
The thing about the new Boulevard is people don't initially know what is is. It doesn't have "Suzuki" clearly on the bike, which is pretty cool. I thought "Black and Decker" or "Singer" or "Maytag" might be good choices too, especially the latter.
Gotta have a sense of humor.
Also saw the post about taking you picture next to a mountain......uh, There's a bridge going out to the beach.
Does that count? HAHAHA

Went riding with my cousin. About 100 mi. or so. He has an older Intruder 800 (bored out a little larger).
Had no trouble keeping up, in fact, I had to ease off a little at the start to keep from getting too close. (He was leading). The Savage can really take off! Past 50 mph. he left me in the dust though, Duh.
I rode his for a while, and it's really smooth, but, my bike just fits so much better. I appreciate the thumper so much more now. After he rode my bike he loved it. He especially liked how you really feel the pull. (Which I have read elsewhere). You can tell there is an engine there and what it's doing.
Getting to practice cornering, slow turns, figure eights, etc. on a larger bike was good for me too.
Got some highway time too just getting to his house.

Oh, and the coffee shop on the OTHER side of town sees me more often now. Grin

Shiny side up!

Grin Way to go Duckie! Yup, the VS800 is a pretty good scoot too (my pal had one and he let me Ride it a couple of times) ... but the LS is the kinda Bike that you can fall in love with over and over!

Ride Safe dude ... and Enjoy!

Good to see I'm not alone!  Cheesy

Love my bike! Currently, the speedo makes more noise than the engine.
HA! I'll fix that soon enough, just not now, I filled the tank. Oh well, guess I'll have to ride some more. Grin
I like the stock muffler, but I'm sure I'll get over it soon enough.
You all know the drill.

Going on a ride with a friend who has some ridiculous sport bike, that ought to be fun. I'll let you know.

As always, more to come. (Unless of course, I don't do anything). Tongue

Once you get about 2500 miles on your bike, all the Intruder will see is your taillight. I have a 98 Savage, my wife has a 96 VS800. The Intruder can barely keep up with the Savage, even before I lightened it to sub-300 pounds...

The VS800 was designed for riders 5'6"-5'10", preferably female. Horrible ergonomics.

What's a car?
