Quick question: Fuel line size

I need to pick up some fuel line at the auto parts store today but I forgot to check the size before I left the house this morning (I have a long commute).

Can someone tell me the size of the fuel line on a Savage? Mine is a '86 in case it is different than other models. I searched to see if this info was posted here elsewhere but didn't see it.

And the od is way bigger than 5/16, especially if you get the reinforced tubing which is recommended.

Pete K Ex Member	Re: Quick question: Fuel line size Reply #7 - 06/22/07 at 07:44:13 I wound up getting the 5/16" line and it worked great. Slipped on easily and tightened down nice and snug. I bought an inline filter and new clamps so everything would be new. Thanks for the help!
