We all saw MacGyver right? Well in that same spirit you can save the hassel (and $) of getting a new jets by doing it at home.

I always felt my bike was running a bit lean since I installed a free flowing exhaust even with the pilot screw 3 3/4 turns out. Now with a "new" 160 main jet the problem seems to be mostly gone  Grin

After this simple mod the bike feels somehow less 2-stokey and more 4 stroke and really pulls like a tractor at high revs, quite a change. We'll see about the mileage.

Any thoughts?

You don't.  Grin
It's a one shot deal.

To go down you'll need new jets of course, but till now all is A-ok.

Personally, I'd rather just spring for the $3 at the nearest HD dealer and keep the original as-is.

what would you've done if it were too rich?  Walk to the nearest dealer?  or 2 weeks to deliver?

10 minutes up, 2 weeks down.   Grin

Yeah, I know.  The thing is that you HAVE to be a bit creative when you live in the middle of nowhere in the 3rd world (beach house in Baja!) Grin And only get to go to the states to check your PO box and do your banking every 6-8 weeks.

The wire tip cleaners used for a cutting torch can work as a make do drill to clean out or oversize a jet. Another race track tip. And no you can't go back once it is drilled out. Grin

In theory, what are the effects of running a bit rich other than a dirty plug and uneffective combustion?
...and blue flames Grin

It's easy to go down in size,,,just get out your solder gun or iron and fill the hole with solder..re-drill to any size you want.. ( another racing tip )   Grin

Ensenada huh?  I used to like that place.  From 32nd Street, take the trolley to San Ysidro and cross over to TJ.  Hike to the bus station and grab a bus to Ensenada.  Spend a day or weekend there and then head back to the ship.
