70 - 80 half the time.
Vibration, more than an earthquake, less than a foot massage. Maybe like riding an old train.

I Commute 100 Miles Every day on my Savage - 90 Miles of which is Highway at 65-70 MPH. Vibration is not excessive for a Single Cylinder and is quite comfortable to ride.

65-70 mph vibration is not too bad at all.

I only travel 12 miles round trip to work at about 55-60, and it is nice. 60-70 MPH for about 150-400 miles a day a few times a month is about tops for me. At 50-70 MPH it is pretty smooth for a Thumper. The only thing I have noticed is that annoying speedo buz. Sounds like a bee hive in a tin can. (that is another thread) Dealer fixed it once, lasted about two days. Plan on fixing it myself next.

get a fork brace. that helps big time on the highway.
also recommend gel seat and gel gloves for long distance comfort.

Even for shorter trips at freeway speeds, the fork brace and windshield are excellent additions. Kuryakyn ISO grips help reduce vibration significantly and a more comfortable seat is nice for longer trips. I commute about 48-50 miles daily with more than half of that on the freeway at up to 80 MPH (65 MPH preferred personally) with no complaints.

YES....... get a fork brace. I have a Superbrace and it was like riding a different bike when I put it on. A fork brace stablizers the front A LOT.

Also wouldn't hurt to check the lower end bolts and mounts. if the mounting for the pegs gets loose the vibration becomes uncomfortable.

don't forget the shocks - the oem's just aren't very good - the correct progressives smooth this baby out a lot as well
