Getting ready for Myrtle Beach bike week

Okay, here's the deal, My brother has invited me to Bike week at Myrtle Beach South Carolina in May.

I need to get the FireLizard ready for it. I want to make it look so good that my brother is very impressed but I want it done as least expensively as possible. Heres what I want to do.

I want to make it where just looking at it you know its a chopper. I really do not want to have to cut the neck, but if I have to I have to.

I also want to do a basic rebuild of the engine. (rings and bearings, and new cam chain and guides.) Also want to put in a performance cam. I think it was Lancer that has it. If so, How much is the cost Lancer with shipping? I can't find the original post.

Paint I can do myself for very little money.

Plan on building my own mini-ape handlebars and taller sissybar.

So any help on where to find the items I need will be greatly appreciated.

Oh yeah, I have a Harley Sportster tank that I will be attempting to install, anyone have a clue how I can do this? I know some mods will be nessissary, I ain't affraid of modding.

Thanks in advance.

Performance cam is $175, including shipping cost, and assumes you have a core for exchange.  If no core then there is a $50 additiional charge.
We need the cam cores in order to keep it going.

I put a five gallon softail tank on mine this last winter. You've got to move a few things around under there. It do give you some range and made my "Thunder Bee" look like a grown-up bike as well. If you look through the threads you'll find where I tell in general terms what it took to "git 'er done".

Here's the pix.

I found where I might be able to get a 14 degree rake chopper kit, it also comes with the ability to put on thicker tubes so there is no danger that original diameter tubes would have in making them more than 4in longer.
