Clutch Replacement?
06/13/07 at 19:29:13

Hey guys, just curious if there is anything I should know for replacing the clutch cable besides the obvious?  Anything out of the ordinary; adjustments, etc.?

Any input is appreciated

Thank you
Jonny Smiley

P.S. Is there a step by step somewhere online for doing the clutch cable replacement?

Thanks again

I think I'd pop the seat, pull the tank & remove the old one. Route the new one in, or, tie a strong string on the old one & drag the string thru when the old cable comes out. That way, the route is marked & you can tie on the new cable & pull it into place. Adjusting it is a snap. Just dont get it too tight. Study the old one a bit before you pull it.
