Lots of different places to look, depending on what type of bars. I used Sportster bars I got from JP Cycles. Paid around $42 but others have found them cheaper.

I got mine for a much better price on eBay a couple of years ago. The 6240 is the correct model for the Savage. Do some searches on Kuryakyn ISO grips and you'll find folks hints on removal of the old and installation of the new.

Yup, they just pry off. They're just caps though. The weights are inside the bars. Again, do a few searches and you'll get pretty complete info on all that's entailed... taking off the end caps, removing the rubber grips, filing/sanding the ridges on the throttle sleeve, etc.
