I mounted something very much like this on an S50. It's a bit bigger than it looks and works well with a T-Bag.

as an alternate to the stock helmet lock, (which fell off) I've been using a luggage lock. They fit over the lever and won't slip off the end.

I can't quite picture a luggage lock, What's it look like? Is it just a small padlock?

Hi, I've been watching one of these (used) on ebay with a black box bolted to it that you can put your brain bucket in. It's going in about 15 hours for less than a new one.

I have a 1954 Lucerne milk crate, wooden, with steel corners.
I am planning on taking an old street sign to have it folded in the right places & make a lid for it, that is about 3 or 4 inches taller than the box.A guy I talked to said he would do it for $20.00. I have 1/8th panelling to line it with to make it waterproof. That way the kid can stash her riding gear when she gets where she is going. I am planning on just using j-bolts to snug it down on the seat. I'll put a little hasp & lock on it.

the rack and box look ok but the shipping is $53 works out too expensive as I may not want the box on it. Thanks for pointing me in that direction.

I've got the same rack/box setup as the one shown on ebay in this thread.
I like it, but the rack is kind of cheesy. I've broken welds on it twice.
Now I've got one side held together with u-bolts. That fix works fine.
I wish someone made a REAL luggage rack for this bike!

Sorry, $53 shipping does stink. It only shows $21 shipping to my NC address and with this being the 2nd time listed without a bid I thought they may take any offer? Bigzuk
