I was wanting to make my savage a bit noisier, so car drivers would hear me when I'm beside or behind them, as I don't like getting cut off. But in NZ, noisy motorbikes can have trouple getting Warrant Of Fitnesses. So, I drilled two additional holes in the rear plate of my standard muffler, and welded a nut around each. Now, when it comes to WOF time, I'll just screw a bolt into each nut, and the noise will revert to standard. Does anybody know whether I need to actually re-jet my carb now, or whether there is enough adjustment on the current jet to accomodate two extra holes? And if I do need to re-jet it, what size jet should I go for?
