Cylinder Head Torque specs (Read 6 times)

bsoth Ex Member	Cylinder Head Torque specs 06/03/07 at 11:40:43 Does anypne know the torque specs for the savage? Clymer does not show them! nor do they show the cyl head assembly to the cylinder From what I have read the suzuki service manual is no better. Anyway, I am putting my engine back together with new piston and rings. Whatever tips you have send em over thanks Bryan

On page 147, Table 2, Torque specs are given. It shows the following for cyl head: 8 mm cyl head nuts---16.5 - 19.5 Ft-lbs 9 mm cyl head nuts---21 - 24 ft-lbs Cylinder base nuts----6 - 8.5 ft-lbs Hope this helps.
