Thanks AL, just was searching this based on bduff's comment.  Does anyone know if the later year boulevard tanks 03 and up will fit a 2001?  Or how much "modifying I would have to do. I must admit that as I can't see the leak, I'm a little worried that the tank metal might be fatigued under the tab, rather than rust?
I noticed a new one is$300 + so slightly used is looking better.

Come on.  You think the S40's went to a single bolt tank?

They don't illustrate 2 bolts because then they have to identify both of them.  Takes 1 x 2 bolts.

Look at the fiche for the seat bracket.  Takes 2 bolts.

If you swapped to a GZ250 tank, you'd gain some extra capacity too...

About reading the fiche..well lets just say Christmas Mornings were Hell..the front wheel goes where??? Cheesy Cheesy
Thanks for the clarification guys..This is where this forum is so helpful, and Barry68v10 brings up a great thought..increased capacity in a GZ250 tank., a paint job to put it all back together.., .It does make sense to..although that will lead to mods in the seat... AH, grasshopper, you have seen the light...
