Is there a trick to removing the airbox? (Read 6 times)

Lochson Ex Member	Is there a trick to removing the airbox? 05/18/07 at 08:34:44 I am trying to get a look at what kind of space I would have to work with by removing the airbox. It doesnot want to go quietly. Any help ? 1999 ls650 Bryan

Reply #1 - 05/18/07 at 09:37:20 yes, there is. there's all the easy to get at botls near the top on either side. then there's one on the left hand side way down low, near the back. it helps to remove the belt guard, or at least loosen it to get a wrench or socket on that bolt. it's a 10 or 12 mm.
