Any "O"- ring that fits the inside of the curled nut will do the job. Current and oldfasioned thoughts!
If you lost the original, look under the startermotor.

I've lost the original, Ive lost the replacement. I don't sweat it anymore. I grab an Oring that's too long but about the right thickness, cut it at an angle & wrap it into the threaded cup that holds it, figure wher to cut it so it overlaps & cut it accordingly. It doesnt leak. I've done that 2 or 3 times, never leaked. Just need a good pair of diagonal cutters a pair O eyeballs.

What made you look there? There are plenty of other places it could be. Sounds like the voice of experience.

That's the black hole of lost small parts... especially the brass washer/spacer from the main jet.
