What is the difference from part #14771-46E00 aka 5-1 and 14771-46E01 aka 5-2 ?besides price
and this is the lead type gasket that goes between the muff and the header right?

Any help would be appreciated.

looks like it should - have different ones of each of the bikes - just haven't pulled the mufflers to see if it does hold up better

I can guarantee the fiber ones don't hold up to more than one use.

well I order the copper one and a new header gasket to boot. I just pick up a Jardine Slash-Cut. I like my hollow dyna but i think its just to loud, Jardine seems like a good one down from a straight shot pipe. Hope it won't blue to bad. Thanks for the info

Likely to still blue some - but it's real important to get the jetting right or you'll blue(or gold) it and the head pipe quick

Head pipe is already Gold! so if the jardine goes gold I'll be in 24K bliss.

Gaskitt? I ain't got no steenkeeng gaskitt,, not backfiring, tho, I am considering loosening the clamp a bit, I miss the backfire..I really liked the rumbling & grumbling coasting down & between gears when I used a clutch.
