New Savage Tire (Read 4 times)

Austin_man Ex Member	New Savage Tire 04/25/07 at 12:28:49 I want to change my back tire out for one that has the raised white letters. Does anyone know what brand of tire has the raised white letters and can I use a 150 instead of a 140?????

I was looking at bridgestone S11's they have the RWL or BW for our bike. Everyone tells me the tread life isn't so good. but hey its better than those IRC's Spelled (Inferior Road Crap) Cheesy

then theres Pirelli MT66 they have Route 66 Spelled out in white letters. I will be going with the 'Stones 'cause I don't like ROUTE 66 on my tire but thats me. Theres a thread about the S11's a couple threads back (started by me) take a look if ya want. Good Luck

You have to be specific about brands. Each manufacturer's tire, regardless of being the same designation (140/90-15) will vary in size. IOW, one brand of a particular size may fit the Savage, and another will not. Most manufacturers have the actual installed size of each of their tires listed somewhere on their web sites.
