Whemn it comes to LS650 OEM parts, I usually compare http://www.crotchrocket.com/ and http://www.ronayers.com/ and take the best price.

I go to the dealer if I need only something small and it is not worthed to pay $8 shipping, or if I am in a hurry and I don't want to wait 2 weeks for the parts to come.
If I am ordering from the dealer I usually prepare myself-1. I check the Ron Ayers microfiche and make a note about the pages and about the ## of the wanted parts on these pages.
2.After that I call and it sounds this way-
I have a Suzuki motorcycle /wait untill the guy gets to the screen/,   01 LS650 Savage /wait for him to get to the bike/,  Now go to the  page "cylinder head cover" /wait for the guy to get there/, ... OK ,  on this screen, I need ... that should be #12 /verify/. Now lets go to the page that says " fr. wheel"...... and so on.
