Petc0ck or Fuelc0ck Issues
04/16/07 at 10:39:30

I had to drain the tank on my '89 Ls650 and the petc0ck/fuelc0ck was frozen. I took it apart and the metal piece inside was all twisted.

Now, this is preventing me from starting the bike. I dont feel I need it as long as I keep it turned to ON and not reserve or prime.

what do you think?

The piece that is messed up is a little round metal circle that doesnt something inside the fuel/petc0ck. I cant still bolt it back together and everything.

Also, a new one is $60...serious? I dont need the whole thing.

Thanks
Rc

Guy named bobo383 (I think?) has a How-to on petcrock modification in the Tech section.  If it's the part I'm thinking it is, you should be able to follow his directions and just eliminate the faulty part.
