So I took the Savage out for her first trip with me at the controls after the rebuild.  about half way through the ride, the Speedo and Odo stopped working.  They were working just fine and suddenly stopped.  I have checked the cable going into the crankcase and it appears to be just fine.  I have yet to pull the tank and check the other end, but I don't think it is the cable.  I was going along and came to a stop.  The needle dropped down as I slowed.  When I started up again, it just wouldn't move.  I am looking at a BC-800 bike computer for it anyway, so I shouldn't have to wory about rrunning out of gas.  Any ideas?
