New Tank?

No, not new. Had the opening for the speedo closed and the indicator lights reppositioned to the upper tripple tree.

Nice ? What do you think?

The "junk" in the background is some parts to be fitted to this bike, wheels to be respoked with SS spokes and polished inners and parts for the spare engine to be polished

Outstanding Kropatchek!! Love the bar mounted speedo! Does it have a tripmeter and does it connect to the stock location on the engine case? What model speedo is it?

The RPM indicator is Byron and the speedo is the bicycle computer as been described previously with tripmeter, average speed, maximum speed, clock, trip distance and total distance from Sigma. Accurate to the KM.
The engine case I still have to close.

Not on my credit. Friend of mine did that, took him 25 hours and I'm not allowed to tell his name because he will NOT do it again. Anyway, not for the money he asked me.

The reflection of those fluorescent lights tells the story. If the work was shabby, they wouldn't be straight & clean. 25 hours to strip the paint, get the thing ready to weld, plug the hole, do the bondo & repaint? he did good. He must really like you. Maybe he really likes the Suzuki, too! I'm guessing he used bondo.

Thanks for all the kind words on the paintjob. Bert ( the painter) was very pleased. He also painted the side panels and the front fender because of a slight missmatch of the original color, rear fender to be done after riding season.
Spent the last week cleaning and coating the tank ( on the inside).
Cleaning/degreasing, rinsing with water, drying, derusting liquid in,shaking, rinsing, drying and finaly the coating. Moving the tank around for 25minutes, drain the excess coating and wait 5 days before you can put the fuel in.
This is to-day and the weather is nice for a first ride: dry and about 17 degr. C.
Will put 1 liter of old gas in and drive to the next gasstation to fill her up. Can't wait.
