I think I wound up with a #55 pilot and a #152.5 main in mine.  The #155 worked about the same as the #152.5 but got worse mileage.  That was using a Mac muffler.

I put the 55 pilot in last night and I think I'll stick with the dynojet 144 main for a sec and see how that runs, my reasoning is that the needle that came with the kit might be narrower and its probably tuned that way for a reason...  If it sucks, then yeah I'll bump up to a  152.5.  I'll let you guys know how it runs.

The Dynojet needle is narrower and passes more fuel. Did you use the full white spacer with the Dynojet needle?

I think someone has been in there as it kinda looks like the spacer was half the stock size.  I think someone has been in here...

I already put the thing back together so I'm trying to recall from memory.

You need to use a full sized white spacer with the Dynojet needle.

What are some of the symptoms if it is half spacer in there?  Just so I am aware when I fire her up?

It'll just make your midrange richer. You could probably compensate by dropping your needle (raising the clip).

So I put the 55 pilot and the 146 Dyno in with the Dyno needle and it seems to run really well.  When I start her up with the choke out it gets kinda gassy smelling in the garage, and surrounding area but with the choke in it seems to be better (still a little smelly).

To get rid of that gassy smell coming out of the exhaust what needs to happen?

Noticable improvment in low end  pickup though which is nice.  Backfires once or twice during a quick downshift...

I gotta say the toughest mod was the snorkelotemy.
