With forks compressed and tire turned, I still have a 1/2 inch or so. Bought it off ebay. They said it was a HD part or at least came in a lot of HD parts. Linky

My leg rides against the engine guard. My leg is still 3 or 4 inches from the header.

And I was wrong John, its a CS Hi-Max tire. 100/90-19

Yep. drilled two holes and bolted it up. The pegs fold in and the clearance between them and the guard was the perfect angle to insure clearance with the tire/fender.
I was surprised I was the only bidder.
