RPM Redline Limiter (Read 6 times)

Can't find any mention of this feature. It is typically an ignition circuit chip to stop firing the spark above the limiting frequency (rpm) where valve float starts. Sure beats a mechanical limit with the inevitable "Uh Oh" and locked rear tire

The tester mentioned that he bounced off the limiter while he was riding it on the highway. If I were more organized, I could find the magazine and tell you the issue it was in.

The limiter of the CDI accoording the test set-up of the SSM is 10,000 rpm.

Believe the valves are floating a long time before that RPM.

(i.e. if there is on at 10k, you'll never get there anyway, at least under normal circumstances). I'm gonna guess I've had mine up to 7.5 k or so...
