fading colors on stock paint jobs

my 98 orange has a nice fading thing going on, people think it's a custom paint job.
i was at a motorcycle shop and noticed a maroon savage that was doing the same thing.
do all the savage colors fade over time ?

The worst paint is the metalic or pearl red. Any metalic red bike / manuf. doesn't make a diff /,that has been sitting in the sun changes all the shades between the original and silver gray.

If ya ride it fast enough no one will notice & you won't have time to be looking.. Mine is no longer pristine, it's a daily rider & gets dirty, I love that thing, It gives me freedom & I don't have to worry about it. I just ride it, change the oil & make sure the cam chain tensioner stays PUT. I'll clean it soon, I guess, maybe, if I feel like it.
