Still rich!

Tonight I removed the foam pod filter and removed all the baffles from the Supertrapp (my neighbors won't stand for that very long!). Did not notice any black smoke from exhaust, but idle is best with idle mix screw turned all the way in until it stops. Even with all the baffles out of the Trapp, when I put the foam filter back in, the black smoke started again. So I conclude it was rich even with the baffles out and the filter removed. Any suggestions from the pros?

Does the main jet have any effect at idle and just off idle? I assumed the primary carb parts responsible for the mix would be the air mix screw and the pilot jet??

Why start a new topic ? You had all the suggestions in that other topic.
Get rid of that 155 main jet. Get a 150.
Black smoke = Too much gas = ?

Check your petc0ck vacuum line for gas, it could be leaking fuel into the intake. To test, remove vac line and cap off both ends, then run on prime. If that fixes it you need to repair, convert or replace the petc0ck. Very common problem on these bikes.
BTW I'm still looking for a left side footpeg
