yeah, does seem a little high
I paid 1800 for my 96 in fall of 05

How much does the trike conversion cost?

That's a rather old Savage, worth maybe $2000?

The cradle it is sitting in is a Voyager "Trike" Kit  (Actually a quadracycle as you end up with four wheels on the ground.):


No mention of how much it weighs.

That's one of those Trike conversions.  I saw one at a bike rally.  Doesn't the rear tire still put the power on the road and the rest are just  training wheels?  I'm still a few years from that...

Does seem a bit high.  What year Savage is that?  An '03?  You could buy 2 Savages for that.

looks like one of the removable setups - saw one of those that would still lean a fair - but it was several grand if i remember correct

Yup, That's the Voyager and it is a training wheel/outrigger setup.
