I think there's a pretty good chance. They are pretty sturdy. I just pulled mine out from under my desk (used 'em this morning) and they look to be about 1/8" thick. I'd be seriously impressed with a snake that could get through these and my Red Wings together.

Overall, they seem to be a fairly nice set: lined, heavyweight naked leather cowhide (not buffalo), heavy-duty stainless YKK zippers. I still need to Nikwax 'em before I use 'em.
