In a
previous thread, there had been a number of suggestions for compensating for the added lean after installing longer shocks. I have 12.5" Progressives on mine and like them very much. Anyway, one suggestion was to mount a hockey puck to the sidestand. I decided to try this one. I am happy to report it works wonderfully. I simply drilled the puck through and then again partially through with a larger bit to countersink the nut/lockwasher/washer underneath, then bolted it in place using stainless hardware. Not only does it compensate for the added lean, it negates the need for a crushed can to keep it from sinking into soft surfaces. The image is low quality as it was taken with my phone at low res but you can get the idea. I'll replace it with a better one later.
