I've been looking at some chopper style sprung solo seats and was wondering how those of you that have them mounted them up? Anyone got any tips and or pics for instaling one of these on our bikes?

You might go have a look at the "Posters Pictures" thread, abiyt the third or fourth from the top. I think I saw a sprung solo in there..

First, buy the seat you want, then sit it on top of your bike to see what points are available to mount to...

For my seat, I bent 2 pieces of strap steel into almost an angle like < and >.

I drilled holes to bolt them to the original seat brackets, so they bent over the top of the frame.  I then drilled holes into the brackets to bolt the springs to.  The front of the seat is mounted to a bracket made specifically for spring seats that I bought online that bolts right up to the mounting at the tank...I'll try to find that link for you...
