the local H.O.G. and Salvation Army (along with many bussiness' and vendors) sponspered a toy run for today.
it was 33 F when i pulled out of the driveway many layers of clothes some decent gloves and i was ok cept  my forehead got the ice cream brain freeze on the way to the h.d. dealer(no helmet law state) ,was wearing a santa cap..left the h.d. dealers  @ high noon (maybe 36F) bout 400of us , was pretty awesome ,  looked like the p.d. called in reserves: all the lights were green for us!!the puplic  support along the route made it all worth the while....( yes it was fun!!)
won a door prize a h.d. hooded zip sweatshirt from the local dealership with an awesome eagle as the rocky mountains print on the back. first time winning ANYthing for me!! all and all a great day for the first storm of the winter and its still fall... 8)

usually a lot warmer this time of year here, actually (I'm in Grand Junction too). @ mid 30s we are about 10 degrees lower than average.
