Thanks for the info.
You are right I will miss the Savage, I had a good run on it, never even dropped it but I can't afford to keep 2 bikes unfortunately.
Yep riding in that wind is horrible, suddenly finding yourself in another lane makes the ride to work "interesting"
Here is a sample from todays news
"Wild wind and rain lashing the lower North Island overnight saw four roofs ripped off houses in the Wellington region.

However, with winds reaching gale force, Mr Dunbar said they were expecting a lot more damage"

Apparently Wellington (New Zealand) is the windiest capital city in the world.
A friend of had her Hyosung 250 blown right off the road on Sunday on a local notoriously dangerous hill pass on Sunday. She is OK though.
