Posts: 953 Gender:	rear wheel sideall wear. 11/18/06 at 16:04:09 I noticed today that the belt guard seems to be rubbing against my rear tire. I first suspected a low rear air pressure that doesn't seem to be the case. Its never happened in the past and the dunlop 404's were installed last summer. Any suggestions??

I didn't check the belt alignment yet as I adjusted it after the tire were installed. its only been a thousand miles.

Good Luck. It is wider than the IRC I had replaced. That was months ago. No problems till now.

Reply #5 - 11/18/06 at 19:19:17 If your sure it hasn't been rubbing till now then, have you checked to make sure the wheel hasn't gotten out of alienment a tad and causing it? With wider width it would take less to rub.

middle bolt that holds the top belt cover was missing. while riding that missing bolt was causing some movement in the guard. My solution was to get rid of the belt guard. Just added weight IMHO.
