Yeah, I can do all of that. It's just that I see some of you folks get pictures right there into your posts. Guess I'll need to set up a site or something. There'll be pix galore by the time this thing is done.

I've always been "a set of wheels is a means to an end" kind of person. They're usually not too pretty, but they always work well. This is my first bike and is kinda cute. And some of the stuff I'm doing to it seems to be getting the bike some attention at stop lights and fuel stops. I can see where these things can end up being a perpetual "work in progress". May just be the incentive I need to take a polishing rag to it once in a while. I even like the 2k yellow they used.

The solenoid is for opening the exhaust valves a few 10th of a second before the starter is activated.

It can be made manual with a small lever and a cable.
Position the lever under your LH thump and dont forget to operate it before hitting the starter button.

Will search the German forum; it was discussed there. May come up with a little more details
