Steering Wheel Lock

Hello,

I am new to this forum, I just purchased a 2005 S40 and
am having problems locking the steering wheel, I am following all instructions to the letter (turning key counterclockwise and pressing in and returning back to original position) but the key doesnt stay pressed in and the wheel wont lock. Wondering if others have experienced this.

magicfairy Ex Member	Me Re: Steering Wheel Lock Reply #3 - 09/18/06 at 17:55:06 Me too, I was convinced it wouldn't work, but my more knowledgeable other half told me to wiggle handlebars a little, as I locked / unlocked it. Works every time now, use it every day.
