Sheepskin seat pad: Gel or no gel?
09/08/06 at 21:56:06

I've been Google shopping sheepskin seat pads & finding lots of different brands, sizes & types & now it comes down to this: 1. Does a gel pad make any difference or is it just a way to sell sheepskins? 2. Does real sheepskin dyed black turn funny colors in the sun eventually, as opposed to synthetic? (as one site mentioned) Thanks for any feedback.

I'd go for sheepskin and gel. That's what I bought from Backinthesaddle. It's very nice. He should know just what size you need. Just sheepskin doesn't provide that much cushioning. The Savage seat needs all the help it can get Embarrassed

I own both types and there is quite a difference in the two.
