Floorboards

I went on a 1500km trip this summer on my Savage and found the footpegs terribly uncomfortable. I want to get floorboards for the bike. I have found two types. One is by Highway Hawk, item #733-061 and the other is by Custom Wings by Ledrie, item # CSEO-1028. Does anyone have any information about these two types of floorboards? Do they install easily? Which do you think would look better? Looks are of course important, but comfort is a big factor as well. I would set up a link to these products but I haven't quite mastered how to do that yet.

are these them? the highway hawk appears to be a bolt on direct replacement, it doesn't get any easier than that. the other one isn't specifically for a savage, but may work with some modification, i'm not familiar with the mounting of the other suzuki types.

Yes, those are the ones. Thank you for the link. Like you, I did notice that the Highway Hawk is listed specifically for the Savage whilst the other is not. The Highway Hawk ones would probably look better but I know they would not be as comfortable as the other style. However, they would be an improvement over the pegs. Which one would you recommend? Is there anyone out there that has put floorboards on their Savage or has any advice for me?

i would probably go for the highway hawks, just for the simplicity of the bolt-on set-up. if, after riding for a while, debby decided she wanted something else, we'd consider a modification to the bigger boards.
