I finally got my wheels and have enough parts to at least make it look like a front end.
The forks are Ceriani, the wheels are stock HD sportster/dyna vintage, the disc is new from an HD parts supplier, the brake caliper is from a Suzuki sportbike/Nissin part.
The fork tubes are about 6" longer than the stock units. Fortunately, the way the triple tree & forks are mounted I can slide the tubes up and down in the trees and make the front end as short or tall as I want without affecting the travel of the forks.
I want to strip the color from the forks and have it redone with black powder coat.
I need to work out the positioning of the caliper and disc so they work together and still have clearance from the wheel.
I also need to get a new set of bearings for the steering head, this one is a different size than the stock Savage unit.
