Me I get to about 65 mph and I feel if I go any faster I'm gonna lose it. Also I have a vibration in my right footpeg at that speed. Thanks

Stock 2006 I've gotten up to 87. I'm trying for 90 but the area where I know there are no cops and the road is smooth is only one exit so it is pretty short. I notice I can go faster if I've been running 75 on the highway it is not such a big leap.

Some guys got up to over 100 w/ carb mods. I don't care about going that fast on a regular basis.

Stock S40 I got her to 80, and I regularly run her at 75. No windscreen. Make sure you wear a full face at that speed!

As for the vibration, at least on my bike, from 61-65, she vibrates the hell out of me. Must be the harmonic balance of the motor. Anyways, if I go a bit above that, the vibration mostly goes away. So ride at 67, and you'll be fine!

Mine is cut down to less than 300 pounds. 100 mph was no problem before I put the apehangers on it. Stripped down to racing trim, it has gone 115 (radar verified) on a track. A member of the old Heise forum had his up to 112.

In its current configuration, anything over 85 is a bit painful.

If you want to go fast on a cruiser, you bought the wrong bike. I have a Vulcan 800A that runs out of road before it runs out of throttle. With the minor mods done to it, it is capable of 140ish, and still has stock gearing...

Mine would do just over 70 in stock trim WOT. However, I didn't have any problems with vibrations at those speeds. Three digit mph is no problem for a lot of MC's, but is a reach for the Savage.
