marlin72 YaBB Newbies Offline I love YaBB 1G - SP1! Posts: 15	Main Jet Types 07/25/06 at 18:49:39 I am getting my exhaust pipe mod made for my sporty muffler. I am going to buy some mikuni main jets before I start the carb mod. Plan to buy 147.5, 150, 152.5 and 155. Which ones do you buy,ie hex, small round or large round. I want buy all the parts before starting this job. Marlin72

When I rejetted up to 152.5 I used a small round main jet with no problems. I believe they are interchangable just don't loose the little brass washer that goes between the jet and carb body when rejetting.

There is an idle mixture adjustment screw that adjusts the pilot circuit. You should only increase/decrease the jet itself if you cannot adjust it sufficiently with the screw.

Or just drop the float bowl while leaving the carb in place. Worked for me. Have an EZ-out available though. Sometimes the pilot jet is stuck and strips easily.
